Regional Roundup Resources
This fall, RFANS launched a series of regional meetings across Nova Scotia to strengthen partnerships and share resources among recreation facility operators. These sessions were born from our Board Members’ and Regional Reps’ real desire to reconnect with recreation facility operators and provide an opportunity to network.
Each meeting featured discussions on RFANS’ mission, data from recent facility visits, updates on accessibility regulations and grants from Accessibility Program Officer Paul Tingley, and information on other provincial grants available to recreation facilities and how best to access them. The NS Safety Branch representatives shared safety resources, while operators had valuable networking opportunities.
