Notice is hereby given to all members of the Recreation Facility Association of Nova Scotia (RFANS) that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Sandman Hotel in Dartmouth, NS on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

This year’s AGM will include a “Lunch and Learn” starting at 10:00pm until 11:30am with the AGM to follow. Further details will be sent prior to the AGM.

To attend the Annual General Meeting, please RSVP by contacting Jennie Greencorn, Executive Director at . If more than one person is attending per membership, please designate one person to cast the vote and indicate who the person will be by the RSVP deadline of June 5th, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

As per the RFANS Bylaws, the following positions are up for election:

PRESIDENT 2-year term 

VICE PRESIDENT 2-year term 

FUNDY REG REP 2-year term 

VALLEY REG REP           2-year term 

CENTRAL REG REP        2-year term 

MEMBER AT LARGE 2-year term

Volunteer Recruitment

In addition to the board positions, RFANS has a working committee structure. There are opportunities to contribute to the success of the Association by participating on one of our workgroups or committees.
