Certified Pool Operators (CPO) Course
The CPO® course from the National Swimming Pool Foundation is designed to provide essential skills and an in-depth understanding of pool operations, water chemistry, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Covering a wide range of topics, including water quality management, pool circulation systems, sanitization techniques, and legal compliance, the CPO® course provides pool managers and operators with the practical and technical information they require to safely and effectively maintain their pools.

Course instructor Robert Hickey has 25+ years of experience in the swimming pool industry and maintains current CPO and CPI status, as well as training other CPOs through the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance.

What You Need to Know:
- Students should bring a calculator (NOT a cellphone), a pen, a pencil, an eraser, paper, and their handbooks
- The course includes 2.5 days of instruction followed by an exam
- The course fee covers all materials and the open-book exam. Lunch is not provided.
Cancellation Policy:
If a withdrawal is made up to 1 week before the start of the course, a 30% administrative fee will be deducted. After that, no refund will be issued. However, you can substitute another person to attend at no extra charge. If the course is cancelled for any reason, we will contact the registrants and provide a full refund.
