Congratulations and welcome back Bud!

“As President of the Recreation Facility Association of Nova Scotia, the RFANS Board and staff are pleased and proud to announce that a long-serving member of our association, Mr. Bud MacInnis is the successful candidate for the new position of RFANS Technical Director.

Bud brings a wealth of knowledge to the position with a strong background in hands-on arena management. From October 1995 to May 2022, Bud was the Antigonish Arena Manager, a multifaceted position requiring a broad range of skills from ice maintenance to financial management and reporting. Bud has even gone through the rare experience of securing the funding and the installation of a new floor in the Antigonish Arena.

As an RFANS member, Bud has a long and dedicated history with our organization. He has held many positions on the board, including President, Vice President, Regional Representative, and Treasurer of RFANS. Bud will work to research and bring new course offerings to our members. RFANS cannot think of a more experienced, professional, and skilled individual to be our Technical Director.

On behalf of the RFANS staff, Board Members, Regional Representatives, and members, congratulations, Bud, on your new RFANS position as our first Technical Director.”
