SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Notice is hereby given to all members of the Recreation Facility Association of Nova Scotia (RFANS) that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Sandman Hotel in Dartmouth\, NS on Thursday\, June 11th\, 2026\, at from 10:00am – 2:00pm. \n  \nThis year’s AGM will include a “Lunch and Learn” starting at 10:00pm until 11:30am with the AGM to follow. Further details will be sent prior to the AGM. \n  \nTo attend the Annual General Meeting\, please RSVP by contacting Jennie Greencorn\, Executive Director at rfans@sportnovascotia.ca. If more than one person is attending per membership\, please designate one person to cast the vote and indicate who the person will be by the RSVP deadline of June 5th\, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. \n  \nAs per the RFANS Bylaws\, the following positions are up for election: \nPRESIDENT 2-year term  \nVICE PRESIDENT 2-year term  \nFUNDY REG REP 2-year term  \nVALLEY REG REP            2-year term  \nCENTRAL REG REP         2-year term  \nMEMBER AT LARGE 2-year term \n  \nPlease note: The Nomination process is concluded. Nominations will not be taken from the floor.  \n  \nVolunteer Recruitment \nIn addition to the board positions\, RFANS has a working committee structure.
